The focus for the development for this pendant is on materialization, not as a final addition, but as the starting point of the design.

Ultra-thin components are stretched open to form a surface that appears to float in midair. The LED strip is inverted and integrated in a way that further emphasizes the texture of the piece.

The aim is to create an ultra-thin lighting fixture. In the search for this, several handmade prototypes were developed. For example, strips of paper were glued together and then opened up at the bottom. Another study explored using just two sheets of veneer.
