what about the w(h)ole thing

the working method 2024

James was invited to give a talk at an optician’s store. The distinctive little hole in the left temple of his glasses became the starting point for his story. Accompanied by his handmade glasses book called ten to the eye, he not only talks about his eyewear collections, but mostly explains why a design ultimately takes the form it does. The buzz caught on quickly, and one talk became three:

May’24  Optica Rosal 21, Asturias (ES)
June’24 Jones and co styling opticians, Manchester (UK)
Nov’24  DM Optiek, Belgium (BE)
