POWERS OF MATERIALS
Lecture given during the finissage of the POWERS OF MATERIALS expo (BE).
Just like ‘Powers of ten’ from Charles and Ray Eames (1977) zoomed in from the solar system to the human atom, ‘Powers of materials’ zoomed in on designers who inspire and dare to innovate on materials. Physical samples were combined with projected visuals, allowing the audience to understand design through both tactile and visual layers.
