On the sidelines of the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Modular Lighting Instruments hosted a showroom dinner where James was invited to give a presentation about his fixture HOLLOW. He chose to take a live, hands-on approach, armed with nothing but a sheet of paper and a pair of scissors. As he cut the paper, he explained how the design came to life and how a hands-on method continuously pushes a design further.
