INVERT reflects on the tension between our affinity for nature and the acceleration of an industrialized world.

A single industrial mattress is transformed using fifty second-hand cushions and buttons sourced globally. By piercing and knotting them between two layers, a capitonné pattern emerges, allowing the object to shift between sofa, daybed, and bed. The cushions carry traces of global cultures and reclaimed materials, turning waste into value. Invert encourages awareness questioning what one is without the other.
